Directed design and storytelling for equity-driven campaigns reaching 100K+ viewers across print, digital, and motion media. Mentored design interns, implemented workflows for brand cohesion, and produced community-centered photo and video content showcasing authentic narratives.

In 2011, BOP started the Bettering Our School System (BOSS) Campaign to remove police enforcement from Oakland Unified School District by 2020. On June 24, 2020, the vision came to pass, and throughout the organizing before us, we wanted to share the history that drives our work and how we stepped up to continue to commit to our previous leaders of the revolution.

This design was created to invite community members to come together, as premiered our third and final episode of the Docuseries titled “Our Story” The concept of the design is meant to signify that this is an invite you’re receiving based on comfort within the digital/workspace, as BOP is consistently working for change in the community.
